Steve Ahern is an international broadcast training consultant, broadcaster, author and media commentator, specialising in Radio, Audio and Digital Media. He can help you improve your business through training, curriculum development and mentoring.

His company, Ahern Media & Training Pty Ltd (AMT) offers a range of ‘off the shelf’ courses, curriculum development, and specially designed high level courses in Media Management, Digital Radio, Podcasting and Multi-platform Broadcasting. AMT also offers Consultancy services. 

Steve is the author of two books: a text book called Making Radio and a novel Harbour Terror, and is the founding editor of the industry website radioinfo.com.au.

 

Steve previously held the senior executive position of Director of Radio at Australian Film Television & Radio School (AFTRS) and was a senior manager at ABC Radio. He also has international experience in the media and training sectors across Asia, the Middle East, Pacific and Africa. He was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in the 2009 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for his work in radio and training.
